What would spring and summer be without nude lipsticks?!
With all of the pastels and cream colors, it’s always a welcome change to throw in a neutral lip. Obviously I’m a lipstick addict, so I’m always trying new colors and formulas to see what’s new out there and find new obsessions! After many trials and tests, these 5 nude lipsticks have stolen my heart and have become regulars in my lipstick wardrobe. Not to mention that they’re all under $35!
My Top 5 Nude Lipsticks
1. Stila Liquid Lipstick in ‘Baci’
Blaire Eadie of Atlantic Pacific, a huge inspiration for me, wears this color nonstop so I think that makes me love it even more. This formula is long lasting which is essential for me because I hate reapplying! The color has some purple undertones that make it more of a robust, cooler nude on the lips. I love this nude lipstick because it’s a neutral but it’s a bit edgier!
2. Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in ‘Pure Hollywood’
Not only do I love the name of this nude lipstick, but I also love the color! If you’re looking for a warmer nude lipstick that is longlasting, then this is your pick. I grab for this color when I’m wanting a nude that brings out any peachy or orangey tones in my lips.
3. Kylie Lip Kit in ‘Koko K’
Yes, I did spend hard earned money on a Kylie lip kit, #noshame. I really do have to say that the formula applies easily and smoothly and it’s about the middle of the road on how long it lasts.
4. Charlotte Tilbury K.i.s.s.i.n.g. Lipstick in ‘Penelope Pink’
This lipstick has to be my FAVE nude. I wore it to my brother’s wedding when I was a bridesmaid last summer, and I have worn it over and over again ever since. The application is creamy but the finish is matte and longlasting. This color is more of a traditional nude in that it is beigey/tan in nature but with the best touch of pink to bring a rosy tint to your lips. This one is a must-buy!!
5. Too Face Melted Long Wear Lipstick in ‘Sugar’
I LOVE putting on this nude lipstick because the applicator is basically an angled little sponge that doesn’t let you apply too much product and I can shape my lips so easily! There’s a lot of be said for good applicators. This color is the most traditional nude that I wear in that it’s chalkier, opaque, and has tan tones to it. Each color can be different on each set of lips, but regardless, the undertone color of your lips will warm this color if you’re worried about it being too intense.
